Age
  • An age which is incapable of poetry is incapable of any kind of literature except the cleverness of a decadence.

  • I've always felt that sexuality is a really slippery thing. In this day and age, it tends to get categorized and labeled, and I think labels are for food. Canned food.

  • There must be a law against forcing children to perform at an early age. Children should have a wonderful childhood. They should not be given too much responsibility.

  • Each age tries to form its own conception of the past. Each age writes the history of the past anew with reference to the conditions uppermost in its own time.

  • People quit on jobs. They quit on marriages. They quit on school. There's an immediacy of this day and age that doesn't lend itself to being committed to anything.
