Alone
  • Nobody was playing the soprano saxophone and certainly nobody was trying to do anything with it. So I was all alone. I didn't know that at first.

  • We're all outsiders in a way. We're all alone and can become very lonely.

  • I delight in my family obligations, but they leave little time for breaks let alone quick trips across the country.

  • The employee is regarded by the employer merely in the light of his value as an operative. His productive capacity alone is taken into account.

  • I feel less alone when I read the books of Ratzinger.
