The American Dream has run out of gas. The car has stopped. It no longer supplies the world with its images, its dreams, its fantasies. No more. It's over. It supplies the world with its nightmares now: the Kennedy assassination, Watergate, Vietnam.

We've removed the ceiling above our dreams. There are no more impossible dreams.

Women are not in love with me but with the picture of me on the screen. I am merely the canvas on which women paint their dreams.
