The more education a woman has, the wider the gap between men's and women's earnings for the same work.

Parents should continue to become more involved with their communities, and more involved in their children's education.

I wanted to be a mechanic. When I was 14 I wanted to quit school and go work on my car. But my dad said Son, you shouldn't do that. You should stay in school until your education is finished, and when you're done, don't make your hobby your job.

My hope was that organizations would start including this range of skills in their training programs - in other words, offer an adult education in social and emotional intelligence.
