Experience
  • Experience is the extract of suffering.

  • There are people who never experience that, who remain closed until death, from fear of change.

  • Capital isn't that important in business. Experience isn't that important. You can get both of these things. What is important is ideas.

  • Experience, already reduced to a group of impressions, is ringed round for each one of us by that thick wall of personality through which no real voice has ever pierced on its way to us, or from us to that which we can only conjecture to be without.

  • It was a very bizarre experience for me, to get the songs together, go in there, and try to deliver them as I would perhaps in a live setting. But I realized that I couldn't take on that coffeehouse style that I came from and go in there and burn it up.
