Freedom
  • Freedom is never dear at any price. It is the breath of life. What would a man not pay for living?

  • Most people do not really want freedom, because freedom involves responsibility, and most people are frightened of responsibility.

  • I am involved in a freedom ride protesting the loss of the minority rights belonging to the few remaining earthbound stars. All we demanded was our right to twinkle.

  • Violent means will give violent freedom. That would be a menace to the world and to India herself.

  • The path we have chosen for the present is full of hazards, as all paths are. The cost of freedom is always high, but Americans have always paid it. And one path we shall never choose, and that is the path of surrender, or submission.
