Freedom
  • Only free men can negotiate prisoners cannot enter into contracts. Your freedom and mine cannot be separated.

  • There is no such thing as part freedom.

  • We, the People, recognize that we have responsibilities as well as rights that our destinies are bound together that a freedom which only asks what's in it for me, a freedom without a commitment to others, a freedom without love or charity or duty or patriotism, is unworthy of our founding ideals, and those who died in their defense.

  • Freedom from effort in the present merely means that there has been effort stored up in the past.

  • You can have peace. Or you can have freedom. Don't ever count on having both at once.
