I am neither a sociologist nor a politician. All I can do is imagine for myself what the future will be like.

I never think of the future. I never imagine what comes next.

I look forward to a time, in the not so distant future, when we no longer look forward to 'firsts' as milestones women have yet to achieve, but we look back on them as historic events that continue to teach and inspire.

People talk about doom-laden scenarios happening in the future: they are happening in Africa now. You can see it perfectly clearly. Periodic famines are due to too many people living on land that can't sustain them.

We do not know enough about how the present will lead into the future.
