Great
  • The bravest sight in the world is to see a great man struggling against adversity.

  • The herd seek out the great, not for their sake but for their influence and the great welcome them out of vanity or need.

  • It is not by muscle, speed, or physical dexterity that great things are achieved, but by reflection, force of character, and judgment.

  • It makes no difference how deeply seated may be the trouble, how hopeless the outlook how muddled the tangle, how great the mistake. A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all.

  • To be an atheist requires an indefinitely greater measure of faith than to recieve all the great truths which atheism would deny.
