Men
  • Reasonable men adapt to the world around them unreasonable men make the world adapt to them. The world is changed by unreasonable men.

  • One can be a brother only in something. Where there is no tie that binds men, men are not united but merely lined up.

  • Men judge us by the success of our efforts. God looks at the efforts themselves.

  • Only the unknown frightens men. But once a man has faced the unknown, that terror becomes the known.

  • The 'morality of compromise' sounds contradictory. Compromise is usually a sign of weakness, or an admission of defeat. Strong men don't compromise, it is said, and principles should never be compromised.
