Truth
  • Truth, after all, wears a different face to everybody, and it would be too tedious to wait till all were agreed.

  • One is certain of nothing but the truth of one's own emotions.

  • The truth is cruel, but it can be loved, and it makes free those who have loved it.

  • When I can look life in the eyes, grown calm and very coldly wise, life will have given me the truth, and taken in exchange - my youth.

  • The truth doesn't have to do with cruelty, the truth has to do with mercy.
