Truth
  • There are trivial truths and the great truths. The opposite of a trivial truth is plainly false. The opposite of a great truth is also true.

  • A lie which is half a truth is ever the blackest of lies.

  • Truth is tough. It will not break, like a bubble, at a touch nay, you may kick it about all day like a football, and it will be round and full at evening.

  • To myself I am only a child playing on the beach, while vast oceans of truth lie undiscovered before me.

  • The truth. It is a beautiful and terrible thing, and must therefore be treated with great caution.
