Truth
  • If truth is beauty, how come no one has their hair done in the library?

  • It is error only, and not truth, that shrinks from inquiry.

  • To kill an error is as good a service as, and sometimes even better than, the establishing of a new truth or fact.

  • I love you, and because I love you, I would sooner have you hate me for telling you the truth than adore me for telling you lies.

  • The truth is that there is only one terminal dignity - love. And the story of a love is not important - what is important is that one is capable of love. It is perhaps the only glimpse we are permitted of eternity.
