As an inspiration to the author, I do not think the cat can be over-estimated. He suggests so much grace, power, beauty, motion, mysticism. I do not wonder that many writers love cats I am only surprised that all do not.

I'm proud that today, at 43 years old, I've come to value the aging process and focus on inner rather than outer beauty.

There's no such thing is aging, but maturing and knowledge. It's beautiful, I call that beauty.

Not longer loved or fostered by religion, beauty is lifted from its face as a mask, and its absence exposes features on that face which threaten to become incomprehensible to man.

We no longer dare to believe in beauty and we make of it a mere appearance in order the more easily to dispose of it.
