It is certain, in any case, that ignorance, allied with power, is the most ferocious enemy justice can have.

When anyone has the power to destroy the whole human race in a matter of hours, it becomes a moral issue. The church must speak out.

All too often arrogance accompanies strength, and we must never assume that justice is on the side of the strong. The use of power must always be accompanied by moral choice.

If you must break the law, do it to seize power: in all other cases observe it.
