Live by this credo: have a little laugh at life and look around you for happiness instead of sadness. Laughter has always brought me out of unhappy situations.

Sad things happen. They do. But we don't need to live sad forever.

In this world, full often, our joys are only the tender shadows which our sorrows cast.

I do believe that if you haven't learnt about sadness, you cannot appreciate happiness.

One must not let oneself be overwhelmed by sadness.
