If science fiction is the mythology of modern technology, then its myth is tragic.

Science is analytical, descriptive, informative. Man does not live by bread alone, but by science he attempts to do so. Hence the deadliness of all that is purely scientific.

The art and science of asking questions is the source of all knowledge.

I think computer science, by and large, is still stuck in the Modern age.

Post-Modernism was a reaction against Modernism. It came quite early to music and literature, and a little later to architecture. And I think it's still coming to computer science.
