Science
  • Human Nature is the only science of man and yet has been hitherto the most neglected.

  • Society lives by faith, and develops by science.

  • Whence come I and whither go I? That is the great unfathomable question, the same for every one of us. Science has no answer to it.

  • Man has to awaken to wonder - and so perhaps do peoples. Science is a way of sending him to sleep again.

  • After all, science is essentially international, and it is only through lack of the historical sense that national qualities have been attributed to it.
